“We redesigned our entire process to ensure apples move as directly and efficiently as possible, from reception through pre-cutting, packing, and shipping. At the same time, we invested in robotics to significantly reduce packaging costs and to better segment our production, allowing every apple to be properly sorted and valued. These improvements also help us increase productivity while addressing ongoing recruitment challenges. By automating key stages of the operation, we are able to reduce our dependence on manpower while maintaining efficiency and ensuring higher throughput across the packing line.”
