As a vital component of automated fruit and vegetable processing facilities, our treatment tanks preserve product quality, extend shelf life, and enhance food safety. Seamlessly integrated into the production line, they deliver consistent and reliable performance to achieve optimal results.
Product’s characteristics
Maf Roda treatment tank models play an essential role in the packing line, providing optimal disinfection and uniform treatment application of all fruit. These systems are key for preserving the quality, safety, and shelf life of fruits and vegetables, while integrating seamlessly into grading lines.
Two operating models are available for these treatment tanks:
- Immersion system: Fruit moves along a roller conveyor, immersing it in a water tank containing the specific treatment required for disinfection and processing. Water currents guide the fruit forward before it exits the tank and returns to the line via rollers. These models can also be equipped with a bypass option for batches that should not be immersed in water.
- Cascade system: A roller conveyor moves the fruit beneath cascade systems through which the required treatment is applied. Uniform application is ensured by the rotation of the fruit as it passes under the different cascades.
