MAF RODA launches the Fast Pack Peach

MAF RODA Group has been innovating and developing robotics systems for years to automate the tasks of packing fruit and vegetable warehouses. Robotics is one of the group’s six main lines of innovation, which also include electronics, automation, electricity, mechanical engineering and traceability. The combination of all these avenues of research has made it possible to develop automatic packing systems that meet a pressing customer need.

Case packing systems have become a key element in warehouse automation, addressing two major customer concerns: labor shortages and the need to reduce costs. MAF RODA’s robotics department has developed the Fast Pack Peach. This system is intended for packing peaches and nectarines with the great novelty that it does it with orientation of the fruit in boxes with alveoli. One of its great advantages is that it is a compact robot that can be easily integrated with the packing line and is easy to use. The second advantage is an optimized production at a constant rate, which allows a higher yield at a lower cost. It is fed directly from the exit of the sizer and features intelligent 3D camera feeding for automatic format recognition and continuous fruit distribution.

The Fast Pack Peach system allows fruit to be packed directly into boxes with different formats of cellulose, flexible or paper trays.
The great versatility offered by this packaging system allows the customer to adapt to the different order formats that need to be prepared with flexibility.
